DIA DYNASTY INTERVIEWED by MOLLY SIMMONS

THE ETHEREAL DIA DYNASTY EXPLORES THE DEPTHS OF PERVERSION AND PLEASURE IN THIS INTERVIEW WITH WRITER MOLLY SIMMONS—INVESTIGATING WHAT IT MEANS TO HELP, HEAL, AND GROW THROUGH BDSM WHILE DISCUSSING DECOLONIZATION AND THE DECONSTRUCTION OF INTERNALIZED BELIEF SYSTEMS.
MOLLY SIMMONS Why don't we start by talking about this concept of wholistic femdom, and what it means to you and how you use this phrase to craft sessions with your clients.
DIA DYNASTY I started thinking about femdom in a wholistic way when I came to the realization that a lot of people perform femdom, myself included. I was doing that as well in my very early days, behaving how other people expected the dominatrix archetype to look and feel like. The performative aspect was how I started off because of the way that we were trained in the dungeon— not to truly be dominant, but to serve and provide a service. And I think that that's totally legit, there's nothing wrong with it, and it's a great way to learn about yourself and other people and to make money doing this thing that you can slowly grow into. But I'm a very expansive person. My sun sign is in Sagittarius, and I'm ruled by Jupiter. I'm always like: how can I make this experience richer for me?
